Ok, so some of you have by now received my newsletter and heard that the last few months have been super busy (good times, but exhausting). So when the opportunity for a little R&R presented itself, of course I snatched it up - and of to the Amazon (near Iquitos, Peru) I went with my fellow FH-missionary friend, Mesha, and her friend visiting from out of town. As they say here, fue spectacular; it was awesome. One of the best things was the rain. After 3 months without any rain, the down pour we received was like a drink of cold, fresh water to my soul. God is awesome - and His majesty is so evident in the beauty of His creation :) Below is a link to some pictures from the trip....when I get a chance later this week I will add some comments and descriptions to them….
